From Homeless to Housed

My client and her two children were in a private rental unfortunately due to a large rent increase that were no longer able to afford their home and had to give the keys back. They couch surfed for over ten months before finally securing another more affordable and sustainable rental and moved in at the start of the week.
The last ten months have been challenging for the family, the children had to change schools, and they found it hard to settle.
This new property is a chance for the family to make a fresh start and they are feeling more positive about their future. Mum has found employment part time which will help to make the rental sustainable.
Moving into the property has been expensive and stressful especially as the family have no family support and mum has found it difficult to reach out for support.
