2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
A single mum in our community is still rebuilding after losing everything in the 2025 Mid North Coast floods. As a renter, she was forced from her home and spent time in emergency accommodation before finally securing a new rental. While having a place to call home again is a huge step forward, the road to recovery is ongoing. She is currently relying on borrowed white goods and furniture as she slowly works to re-establish a stable home for her family.
Without contents insurance and with no access to government grants, rebuilding has been incredibly challenging. Despite this, she continues to do her best to create a safe and comfortable environment for her children. Community support and understanding during times like these can make a real difference as families like hers continue their journey toward stability and recovery.
