This young person has experienced significant instability throughout her upbringing, yet she remains committed to completing her education and improving her mental health. After exposure to drug misuse by her caregivers, a family friend offered her a safe place to stay. Since moving in, her school attendance and overall wellbeing have noticeably improved. Recently, a bed bug infestation has disrupted her sleep and increased her stress levels. Despite attempts to treat the issue including steam‑cleaning the mattress, the infestation persists. At this stage, replacing the bed is considered the most appropriate and effective solution to support her health and stability.
