First Nations Support
We are supporting a 15 year old young person to re-engage in education after a significant period of time disengaged from education due to family complexities such as domestic and family violence, and familial conflict. The young person is currently involved in a transitional education program with our organisation, working towards their Certificate in General Education for Adults and aspires to obtain a paid traineeship upon completion. The young person has made incredible strides towards their goals regardless of the barriers that they currently face. Due to economic hardship and familial dynamics, we would like to support the young person with a voucher to purchase some new clothing items. This is to champion the young person as they work towards their goals, support the young person to have a positive experience, and to meet needs outside of their education goals.
