This young person has been homeless for 2 years due to ongoing violence, abuse and neglect.
They have slept rough, couch surfed, stayed in temporary accommodation, and often slept in their car — all while continuing to study and working towards finishing school this year.
They’ve shown incredible determination. Without financial support, they got their driver’s licence and bought a car, which they rely on daily just to find a safe place to sleep. Many days involve hours of driving between places, and the cost of petrol is becoming impossible to manage.
They are covering all their own expenses — food, clothing, and basic needs — and are just getting by.
Despite everything, they remain committed to finishing their studies and building a better future.
