A refugee family of five from Syria is rebuilding their lives after fleeing conflict and starting over in Australia. The family includes parents and their three adult children, all currently studying and working hard to improve their English, gain qualifications, and build a stable future. Despite their motivation and commitment, they continue to face financial hardship and limited support networks.
The parents face ongoing challenges adjusting to life in Australia due to language barriers and limited employment opportunities. As the whole family is focused on study and settlement, their financial situation remains very difficult. Their home does not have adequate heating, making winter extremely uncomfortable and challenging for the family. Urgent support for heaters would help provide a warm, safe, and healthy living environment while they continue working towards independence and stability.
