Visually impaired Forgotton Australian in need of new washing machine

I am currently supporting a vulnerable older adult who faces significant barriers to daily living. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and now relies on a urostomy bag. She struggles to manage the bag effectively - leading to frequent leaks or bursts. Consequently, she must constantly wash soiled bedding and clothing. However, her washing machine has begun to malfunction - it fails to complete cycles and leaks significantly. This creates a serious safety concern, as the resulting puddles pose a major fall risk given her limited mobility and vision. With this, she would greatly benefit from support with a new washing machine. Given all the hurdles thrown her way, she is still optimistic about fighting her cancer and continuing to live independently. As her youth was spent in institutional care this independence is extremely important to her. This washing machine would be such a valuable support to ensure she can continue this.
