Recipient has a long term spinal cord disability, is a wheelchair user, requires 24/7 Support Worker care.
Other hardship(s)
Recipient lives with a long-term spinal cord disability, and uses mobility devices including a wheelchair, hoist, powered bed, shower commode. Due to some further newly acquired physical disabilities and health conditions, recipient now requires 24/7 Support Worker care so that they can live at home, and is on medically required bed-rest. The recipient is a single person on a disability payment who now needs assistance to set up the home so Support Workers can stay with them in their own home.
