After relocating to a remote outback community 5 years ago due to limited housing options in Brisbane, he is still struggling to make the house feel like home. On a job seeker payment (attempting to apply for DSP due to several severe medical issues) his income barely covers rent, phone credit, electricity and food. Currently sleeping on a small childs bed, dining table is made of boxes with a board on top and the couch is very old, stained and collapsed. This gentleman has used his last bit of hope to reach out for help with his mental health and living conditions. Due to living so remote, the town has no furniture shops and delivery options are expensive or limited.
