My client was referred to our service due to being homeless.

My client left the family home due to a ‘toxic environment’. He reported that his mother was controlling, manipulative and verbally abusive. My client was forced to work in family restaurant and any aspirations towards a career of his choice were thwarted. This has had negative impact upon his education and his mental health. He has also reported that his other siblings were not subjected to the same treatment. My client is now residing in Transitional Housing and working towards accessing employment and long-term affordable housing. He never asks for anything - but we have identified that a bedside table would be a practical addition to his bedroom.
