Young refugee family seeking support after car accident left husband unable to work
Young family moved to Australia for a better life - Dad was working but had a car accident so now they are facing uncertainty of their ability to stay in Australia. Whilst Dad recovers they are receiving no income. Mum is caring for a 2 year old and a 9 month old and her husband while he recovers. He will likely need surgery in the coming months on his injured back. We have provided them with all the baby items they need however they are struggling to make ends meet. Recently the family car was vandalised while parked out the front of their house as well. Insurance will cover this but for now they have no transport as it gets assessed. They also live with family (sharing a bedroom) as they could no longer afford rent. Formula and food are their current biggest expense. Recently sold some jewellery to stay afloat and case will be closing next month with current support organisation who have been accessing GIVIT ion their behalf. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
