After making the courageous decision to leave a domestic violence relationship, this mother has secured a new tenancy for herself and her children and is preparing to move into their safe new home. However, the family is starting over with very few possessions and urgently requires beds.
The client is currently reliant on Centrelink payments and does not have the financial capacity to purchase essential furniture & whitegoods. Bond loan assistance has been secured and applications for additional support are in progress, but these funds are not immediately available.
Having experienced isolation from family and support networks during the relationship, she has limited practical support available. Despite this, she has taken significant steps to ensure her family's safety and stability.
