This request is for a vulnerable 70-year-old woman living alone after escaping years of domestic violence and financial abuse. After a long period of fear, instability, and hardship, she was finally provided with a small private property where she could begin rebuilding her life safely and independently.
She has extremely limited financial means, no family or social support, and lives with several ongoing health conditions that heavily impact her mobility and daily functioning. Everyday tasks such as shopping for groceries, preparing meals, and travelling outside have become physically exhausting and emotionally overwhelming, especially during the current cold weather.
Her fridge is very small and no longer functioning properly, leaving her unable to safely store groceries, fresh food, or prepared meals. Urgent support would greatly improve her wellbeing, dignity, independence, safety, and daily quality of life. She urgently needs stability and comfort during this difficult time now.
