This single aged pensioner is in her 80s and was settled long term in a nice rental home in a rural location which she really loved. Unfortunately the rental home burnt down in bushfire and she lost all of her possessions. It has also been quite difficult to find suitable and affordable rental accommodation as she is a single aged pensioner. She has found a rental - but it is quite a bit more expensive than her prior rental and is proving to be a challenge financially. On top of this are all the challenges with starting over in life, replacing all her belongings and clothing and furniture and coming to terms with the impact of the bushfire for herself and her local community.
