Recipient story

NDIS participant urgently requires assistance with setting up unit
Other hardship(s)
An NDIS participant who experiences mental illness requires a vacuum cleaner to support the development of independence and daily living skills. Psychosocial disability can significantly impact motivation, energy levels, and the ability to manage routine household tasks. Access to a reliable vacuum cleaner enables the participant to maintain a clean and safe living environment, which is essential for both physical wellbeing and mental stability. Being able to complete cleaning tasks independently can reduce reliance on support workers, promote a sense of control and achievement, and build confidence in managing one’s own household. This support directly contributes to improving functional capacity, supporting recovery, and increasing independence in line with NDIS goals.
