Client with children impacted by domestic violence seeking assistance with safety

Client and her children have been subjected to domestic violence both during and post relationship. Client has been referred to specialist domestic violence services, however due to services being at capacity, is on a wait list for allocation to a Caseworker. Client and her children will be required to leave their home for a period of time in the coming month due to an identified increased risk to safety. Client is on low-income and is not able to afford the cost of travel and accommodation whilst maintaining the required payments for her housing. Client is awaiting a safety audit of her property; client requires security cameras and sensor lighting. Vouchers to assist client with security, accommodation and travel are necessary to improve client and her children's safety.
