Single gentleman struggling to replace all items lost during the floods
2025 North & Far North QLD Floods
This gentleman is struggling to replace items lost after flood waters inundated his home and destroyed many essentials items. He does not have contents insurance and the assistance payment will not be sufficient to cover everything and get him back to normal.
Your help and support would be greatly appreciated.
Update (July): this individual has received vouchers for furniture and support from the Government grant but this hasn't been enough to replace all essentials. He doesn't have sufficient funds to replace his fridge which was lost in the floods. He is currently using a small 12V fridge but he would appreciate some help in purchasing a small fridge/freezer so he can store more food.
