This mother and her three children have experienced severe domestic and family violence and are trying to rebuild their lives in safety. Although the person responsible is currently in prison, his release is due next month, causing immense fear and anxiety for the family. The mother is living with the constant belief that she will be at serious risk when he is released and has begun preparing a will because she fears for her life. The prolonged trauma has taken a significant toll on her mental health and emotional wellbeing. She is doing everything she can to remain strong for her children while managing the ongoing fear of what the future may hold. The family has been living in survival mode for a long time, and the emotional burden has also created significant financial hardship. They are working hard to establish a safe and stable future, but the ongoing impacts of domestic and family violence have left them vulnerable and in urgent need of support.
