A single mother is seeking assistance to obtain a laptop to support her child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who is currently being homeschooled. Mainstream schooling has not been suitable for the child’s individual needs, and the child has not been accepted into a special school setting. As a result, homeschooling is being pursued to provide a more suitable learning environment that can better accommodate the child’s educational and developmental needs.
Access to a suitable laptop would assist with the child’s educational needs, online learning activities and access to appropriate learning resources. Financial support to obtain this essential equipment would help reduce the financial burden on the family and support the child’s ongoing education and developmental needs.
