The family is in need of a washing machine. The single mum lost her husband unexpectedly, due to a lifelong chronic condition. The loss has been difficult for the family. Despite the daily struggles she faces, her priority is on her child and their wellbeing. She is a dedicated mum, who wants to be a positive role model and provide them the best life, with endless opportunities for a good future. Aside from the emotional struggles, financially has become increasingly difficult for the family. With the washing machine broken, she is reliant on regular trips to the laundromat. This presents additional obstacles, as she is without transport and lives in a hot region, which is remote and isolated and gets into mid 40degree temperatures and wet season conditions.
