30yo single mum with two boys under 6yo escaping domestic violence needs a heater before winter hits!

This 30-year-old single mother of two has come a long way from being trapped in a violent relationship with the father of her sons. It was a hard journey looking after two young boys, trying to secure a new/safe residence, working with her GP to trial new medication, dealing with the trauma of a violent relationship, and finding her true self amongst all the chaos.
Housing ACT has provided a home for this young family of three and mum is ecstatic, but the home currently has no heating. A request has been entered with Housing ACT maintenance and fingers crossed that happens sooner rather than later. In the interim they will need a heater or two.
