Big Group Hug supports children and families facing hardship due to homelessness, family violence, financial stress, and other challenging circumstances. One of our most needed items is new underwear and socks.
Because of hygiene requirements, underwear and socks cannot usually be donated second-hand, making them a constant need. Many children we support have very limited clothing and may not have enough clean underwear or socks for everyday life.
New underwear and socks help children feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. They support attendance at childcare, kindergarten, and school, while providing dignity during difficult times.
