Booster seat needed for child with severe disability
GIVIT
A refugee family from a Rohingya background is seeking assistance to obtain a booster seat for their daughter, who has a severe disability.
The child has been successfully linked with a special school, which will provide ongoing transport support; however, the family is required to independently arrange an appropriate booster seat to facilitate this service.
Both parents have limited cognitive capacity and are Centrelink recipients, resulting in significant financial hardship and limited ability to source the required equipment independently.
Any donation of a suitable booster seat would be greatly appreciated and would significantly support the child’s access to education and essential transport services.
