A young person needing support to complete studies. His mother is incarcerated and he is being cared for by family friends.

Our service is currently supporting a family. The children's mother is currently incarcerated due to criminal activities around drug addiction. The young person has been exposed trauma, including adult drug use and domestic violence. The young person is currently in the care of his stepfather and his family. This is providing him some stability, however, due to the young person's history he has become very withdrawn and introverted and has not attended any kind of formal education for a significant period of time. The young person has recently been linked with an organisation who will assist him to get his year 11 and 12. The young person does not have access to a laptop, and this would greatly assist him to complete his education and support him to work with animals which is his passion.
