When her family faced a crisis, this incredible woman didn’t hesitate. Already a single mother raising two children of her own, she opened her doors and her heart to her two nephews and niece to ensure they stayed together in a loving home. Overnight, she became a solo parent to five children.
While her spirit is tireless, her household resources have been stretched to the breaking point. With six, sometimes more, people now living under one roof, the basic tasks of maintaining a home have become overwhelming.
Between school runs, preparing meals for five, and providing the emotional support these children need during a major life transition, she is now spending hours hand washing every school uniform, every bedsheet and every outfit for five children, and herself. This is taking a toll and is a burden one selfless parent should not have to carry.
