This client is a mother of four teenage girls who has bravely fled a domestic violence situation involving the children's father. Together, they are working hard to rebuild their lives in safety. While education is a significant goal for the family, ensuring the girls have a good night’s sleep is essential to their wellbeing, stability, and ability to engage at school. Although they have taken important steps forward, a true sense of security cannot be achieved until they have a stable home where each child has a bed and a space of her own. The family is currently living in an area they never intended to call home, but due to the extreme pressure on housing, their priority is finding somewhere that allows them to feel safe and protected. With the generous support of a donor, these girls will be able to remain together in their home, gaining the comfort, dignity, and security they need to rest, heal, and move forward.
