This family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 7, and 4) arrived in Australia seven months ago and are currently renting. They require basic household appliances and some furniture.
Both adults are currently unemployed as one of the children has thalassemia and requires a blood transfusion every 20 days, which involves not only travelling to Gold Coast University Hospital but also Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane for treatment which has made it difficult for them to seek employment. The family are relying on centrelink payments.
The family have no support in Australia and have reached out to us.
