For many young people experiencing homelessness, Christmas can be a difficult and lonely time of year. While others look forward to celebrating with family, sharing traditions and waking up to presents, these experiences aren't something everyone has had the opportunity to enjoy.
Some of our young people have never experienced the excitement of receiving a Christmas gift or the feeling of being thought of and celebrated. Many have experienced family breakdown, homelessness and significant challenges throughout their young lives.
Christmas is an opportunity to remind these young people that they matter, that they are valued and that they deserve to experience the joy, love and connection that so many of us take for granted.
We want every young person to feel a sense of belonging this Christmas, to create happy memories, share laughter and experience a little bit of magic. More than anything, we want them to know that they aren't forgotten and that they are worthy.
