This mother has been diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma and has had to spend long periods away from her family to undergo treatment. Her treatment has included major surgery and radiation, which left her very unwell and resulted in multiple hospital admissions. During this time, her wife and young son remained at home while she focused on her recovery.
She is now back home and awaiting further test results to determine the next steps in her care. She has been unable to work since late 2025, which has placed significant financial strain on the family. Support in the form of grocery and fuel vouchers would greatly assist them during this challenging period.
