Client is a 12-year-old girl contacted her mother and informed her that she had fled her father's home due to Domestic violence.
Mum was concerned about her daughter's safety and drove 4 hours away to pick her up and then take her to the Police Station .
She was too scared to go home to her dad, so she left with her mother with only the clothes she was wearing and no other belongings
The young girl is now safe with mum, however mum has been unsuccessful in getting an emergency payment while she arranges for her daughter to move back home with her and get a parenting payment
Mum needs assistance so she can feed an clothe her daughter while she waits for her Centrelink parenting payment to start
Mum did say she does have a bed and blankets but her daughter has no other clothes or shoes and will also need School supplies.
Mum would also like assistance with extra groceries.
