2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
We are seeking support for a gentleman in our community who has experienced an incredibly difficult period over the past 18 months.
During the 2025 Mid North Coast floods, he lost everything in the disaster. Like many in our region, he faced the overwhelming task of trying to rebuild his life from the ground up. Not long after, he experienced another devastating loss when his mother passed away just six months later.
With no insurance and no access to government grants he is trying to rebuild piece by piece himself
Despite these hardships, he has remained someone who gives back to his community. He is known as the kind of person who helps others whenever he can and has always been the first to lend a hand. However, he has never been one to ask for help himself. It has taken a great deal for him to reach out and connect with support services.
He is now beginning the process of rebuilding stability in his life and creating a safe, comfortable home environment again.
