This young mum is a proud first-time mother to her baby girl. She loves being a mum and is deeply focused on keeping her daughter safe, happy, and well cared for.
Due to past family trauma, she has very limited family support. She works very hard to provide a loving environment for their baby.
Her family is currently living in emergency accommodation while working with services to secure stable housing. Mum receives Parenting Payment and is motivated to build a better future, including plans to gain her RSA and return to part-time work when childcare becomes available.
She identifies as Aboriginal and is proud of her culture, which she hopes to pass on to her daughter. Support through GIVIT would make a meaningful difference for this family during a vulnerable time.
