A mother who has a son with additional needs ongoing NDIS supports as he is living with a disability, have been affected by the 2026 Victorian bushfires. she has damaged property, stolen items, lost many trees and her fences, also had to put one of her animal down due to smoke inhalation and has also recently gone through major surgery for cancer and recovering from that, on top of various other medical conditions.
