Prior to this, she had relocated due to significant damage to her previous home caused by Cyclone Alfred, where she had lived for two years. This recent upheaval has intensified her mental health challenges, particularly her panic disorder and complex PTSD, as the move disrupted her sense of safety and stability.

She has a history of DFV trauma where the perpetrator was convicted and incarcerated. She is currently navigating significant emotional and financial hardship. In an effort to rebuild her life and establish routine and purpose, she has recommenced study. However, she is unable to afford essential items, including a new pair of prescription glasses due to ongoing financial impacts from DV and disaster-related impacts. Assistance would provide meaningful relief and support her journey toward recovery.
