Despite actively seeking work, she has not yet secured new employment.
The client has a history of domestic and family violence and reports ongoing intimidation from her former partner, impacting her wellbeing and sense of safety. She is currently paying $1,260 per fortnight in private rent, which is no longer affordable on her current income, placing her tenancy at risk. She has been unable to find suitable and affordable alternative accommodation. Assistance is sought to help meet essential household expenses and maintain housing stability for herself and her children while she works towards securing employment and rebuilding financial independence.
