GIVIT
Addiction has a costly impact on our community, supporting people through their recovery results in less deaths, incarcerations and cost to taxpayers. We have a constant stream of people who are making a courageous life changing choices and completing our AOD programs. Many come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and the treatment needs to be a wraparound holistic continuation. Moving into a unit with nothing and no means of acquiring the basic things you need can be enough to make people give up, starting the vicious cycle all over again.
