P is a devoted mother of two young daughters facing ongoing verbal and financial abuse from her partner, who recently demanded she move out because he wanted a son. Coming from a South Asian background, P fears cultural stigma and pressure from overseas family if she reports the abuse.
Her partner maintains coercive control—she is only allowed to use his car for school drop-offs and pickups, and any other use leads to conflict. He also refuses to pay for the children’s therapy or take any responsibility for their care, dismissing them because they are girls. P is doing her best to protect and care for them, but the isolation, lack of mobility, and financial hardship are creating barriers.
Both daughters have speech delays and are likely on the autism spectrum, needing consistent support and services. P needs financial assistance to purchase a vehicle, which would give her the independence to work, access therapy for her children, and safely begin rebuilding her life.
