Significant asset loss including a caravan, a machinery shed and its contents, a tractor, water tanks, fencing, tress, and an orchid. Insurance was minimal and barely scratches the surface in replacing what was lost. This couple are now facing retirement at a disadvantage as they struggle to replace items and move on. Residents shared that their most heartbreaking loss was their orchid. That the years of love and care tending their fruit trees, and raising them from seed, cannot be replaced, and this causes them the most discomfort. Any assistance provided that can help easy this burden and discomfort would be greatly appreciated and will make an impactful difference to their recovery journey.
