Aboriginal mother who has escaped DV but who lives with the ongoing ramifications of the trauma in complex behaviours from her children who also have diagnosed disabilities. Mum herself has diagnosed mental health concerns which she is supported by Health to manage. Mum has maintained work for over a year for the first time in her adult life (due to her own mental health and managing the children) which has been a significant win - but also meant that she didn't have a safety net through recent COVID which meant she couldn't work for a period. Following her COVID, she has now had a period of unexpected expenses with car issues (she had to prioritise fixing this so she can continue work), fridge, washing machine and lawnmower broken down.
