Domestic & Family Violence
This young couple, both aged 16, are working hard to be reunited with their baby, who was removed from their care 2 months ago. They are attending court, participating in parenting programs, and maintaining regular visits with their child, demonstrating their commitment to reunification. Currently homeless and sleeping in a tent, they rely on Youth Allowance, much of which is spent on campsite fees, showers, laundry, and transport. With no cooking facilities, they often struggle to access regular meals and frequently go without for extended periods. Stable housing remains the key barrier to having their baby returned to their care. With limited support and family who provide emotional support living eight hours away, they are doing their best under extremely difficult circumstances. Any assistance or support with housing, food, or essential living expenses would be greatly appreciated and would help this young family move closer to reunification. Sincere thanks in advance.
