Help refugee / migrant / culturally diverse women in skills-based support programs
Domestic & Family Violence
We are a volunteer-run Not for Profit organisation supporting women from refugee, migrant, and culturally diverse backgrounds in South East Queensland.
Many women in our programs have experienced trauma, domestic violence, isolation, unemployment, and language barriers. Through sewing, craft activities, English conversation, emotional support, and job readiness programs, we help women rebuild confidence, connection, and independence.
We are seeking a donated overlocker sewing machine to support our growing sewing program. Sewing provides healing, friendship, practical skills, and pathways to employment or small business opportunities.
An overlocker would help participants produce higher-quality garments while learning industry-standard sewing skills and building a stronger future for themselves and their families.
