A senior citizen how was been through homelessness is needing cleaning support for his new unit and a clinical electric bed.

This individual is a 69‑year‑old man who has experienced homelessness and is now living in his long‑term housing through the Department of Housing. He has significant health concerns, which have at times placed his tenancy at risk, particularly in relation to hygiene and his ability to maintain the property safely.
Uniting WA is putting additional supports in place to help him maintain his tenancy and remain safely housed. This includes arranging a professional biohazard clean, for which we have received a quote of $2,000.
The program has also organised an early ACAT assessment to ensure he can access aged‑care services that can support his daily living needs and overall wellbeing.
He requires a clinical electric bed that reclines to allow him to sleep comfortably due to his chest complications. He is not able to sleep vertically.
Any financial support and or a bed donated to him will be greatly appreciated.
