57 yo has experienced a heightened level of domestic violence after the 2022 flood. Her partners mental health challenges and subsequent addiction issues have increased the threat of domestic violence. She is very skilled in sewing but lost her sewing machine and overlocker in the flood. Since then she has not been able to afford them because of the cost. If she had a sewing machine and overlocker she would be able to make new curtains and repair furnishings and bedding all of which would be too expensive to buy already made. She would really benefit from this as well because sewing is good for her wellbeing and would really help in her physical and mental recovery from the flood. Any help would be very much appreciated.
