2026 Victoria Bushfires
In the aftermath of the devastating fires in January 2026, individuals, families and communities are still in the early stages of recovery after having their lives up ended. There are 5 communities that were effected; Longwood East, Ruffy, Creightons Creek, Gooram and Avenel. People are in need of basics such as winter clothing, tools, fuel and groceries, daily needs that are still uncertain four months after the event.
By helping provide these fundamental needs, we can help these individuals and communities in their daily efforts to keep striving in their recovery.
As the seasons change, new needs arise; the need for warm clothes, fuel for transport or power generation and tools for maintenance, repair and rebuild.
Many still rely on community Recovery Hubs for meals.
