Client 80 years old lives independently in a remote rural area on steep land. His only toilet is located outside, requiring him to walk up a very steep hill.
Recently, a large tree fell onto the toilet structure, causing significant damage. He continues to use the toilet because he has no other option for toileting.
He require pelvic surgery within the next six months. Following surgery, he will no longer be able to safely access the external toilet.
The client is in financial hardship and has no family support.
This support would significantly reduce he risk of injury, help prevent premature entry into residential care, and enable him to remain living safe
