The client is a woman who has recently returned home and is actively working to re-establish stability. On her return, many of her personal belongings were no longer available, and had been destroyed. She currently does not have a functional mattress to sleep on in the house. She does have the bed base which is Queen bed size.
Limited financial resources and lack of access to transport make it difficult for her to replace large household items independently. Without essential furniture, she is doing her best to settle into a space that is not yet fully safe, comfortable, or functional. Support at this time would make a meaningful difference. Access to a clean safe mattress would support her sanitation, sleep, stability and independence.
