Lost everything during the 2025 Mid North Coast Floods
2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
A single mum of three is rebuilding her life after an incredibly difficult year. In May, floods destroyed everything in her home. At the time she was also caring for her mother, who sadly passed away in June. Just a few months later, in September, she welcomed a new baby while navigating grief and recovery.
With her home gone, she had to leave the town she knew and relocate to a new community, meaning her children had to change schools and start again as well. Despite everything she has faced, she continues to do her best to create stability and a safe, loving environment for her children.
She is working hard to rebuild and settle her family into their new life, one step at a time, after an incredibly challenging period.
