Consumer affected by January 2026 Victorian bushfires, was living in a small cabin on his parent’s property, the main house was saved, however, his cabin was totally destroyed, along with outbuildings, fences, and everything he owned. This consumer was uninsured and has just undergone back surgery from a workplace injury and is unable to work due to injury. He has had to move into the main house with his parents, however, the only bed he has to sleep in, is a very old one and he is suffering extreme back pain and is having problems with his recovery and healing as he can’t sleep properly. He would be very grateful if he could get any assistance in purchasing a new bed.
