Supporting local women with lived DV/FV experiences both current and past
Domestic & Family Violence
GIVIT
Our service, through our Domestic/Family Violence Peer Support Group, walk alongside women and their families with lived experience of Domestic/Family Violence.
We create a safe space for them to talk with others who have lived experience and we assist them to learn how to support each other in health ways.
We find our participants struggle to make ends meet and often this means they go without essentials.
Although we can assist with meals and additional produce via rescued food from local supermarkets and sanitary products, we feel that gifting grocery cards is empowering to these women, allowing them to purchase those special items that we're unable to give through our meal programs.
We'd love for you to assist us to support these women who need an extra hand up at this time.
