A 6 year old girl has been battling an aggressive childhood cancer, her mother by her side for every appointment.
The single mother and her daughter duo have had an incredibly challenging 18 months, managing demanding hospital schedules, financial pressures and mounting medical bills, unable to work due to the 24-hour care that this child needs.
The family have no support network and have become increasingly insular as they focus on the healthcare of the child as she is immune compromised.
However, recently the family suffered another blow, the mother diagnosed with kidney cancer. She is preparing for and is overwhelmed with the situation and how she will manage their healthcare journey moving forward.
Any assistance now and in the lead up to Christmas is greatly welcomed.
